This exhibition of sculpture, painting, drawing, and fiber art is inspired by one of Hendrix College’s undergraduate students who received a funding grant to learn how to tie flies. His research and results will be a part of the exhibition, along with fine art by local and regional artists making work about fishing and the waterways of Arkansas. Additionally, Arkansas fishing related companies are showcasing their design and production processes in the exhibition, and educational programming and events will occur from January through May.
TIGHT LINES opens to the public on January 21 and runs through May 17. A public reception is scheduled for January 24 from 5-7 p.m.
