Gyotaku Fish Print Workshop and Dinner on Feb. 26.
Join us at the museum on Wednesday evening, Feb. 26th from 5-7 p.m., for WINDGATE WEDNESDAY! This FREE event features the art of Gyotaku fish printing and dinner: “macaroni with the chicken strips… uhh!”
Gyotaku means ‘fish rubbing’ and is a printmaking technique traditionally used by Japanese fishermen to record their catches. It is the perfect project to celebrate our exhibition “TIGHT LINES,” on view now through May 17th in the Biggs Gallery. All supplies are provided and so is dinner with salad and refreshments.
